Ottawa County Patriot Party Community Forum on the Grand Haven cross and the religious sign in Hager Park.
A civil rights group has objected to religious signs and symbols in Ottawa County. First it was the cross on Dewey Hill in Grand Haven and then a sign with a biblical verse in an Ottawa County Park. The Ottawa County Patriots have organized a community forum for all to express themselves.
Tony Reidsma doesn’t like the cold. So to battle the cold and freezing temperatures, he decided to document Lake Michigan during the winter. The results are now on display at the Holland Area Arts Council. Frozen in time captures the Big Lake during the winter of 2013-14.
the night before the bond election in Zeeland, Superintendant Cal DeKuiper sleep well. He thought he and other officials and teachers had prepared well for the upcoming millage election. But after voters approved the 53.5 million dollar bond, DeKuiper says he didn’t sleep well at all.
